Action camera bracket

This bracket allows for the secure mounting of an action camera onto a firefighter’s helmet. All components are engineered to withstand moisture and high-temperature exposure. The bracket's geometry ensures an optimal field of view (keeping the helmet out of the frame), while the dual-point mounting system guarantees a rock-solid fit.

Materials & Durability

The bracket is constructed from 2 mm stainless steel, balancing high strength with a lightweight design. The camera mounting plate is made of aluminum, and all hardware (screws/bolts) is stainless steel. For added heat resistance and stability, the soft washers are made of thermal-grade silicone.

Precision Engineering & Clear Field of View

• Forward Offset: The mount features a 60 mm forward offset from the rear attachment point. This specific distance ensures the helmet does not obstruct the camera’s lens, providing a clear first-person perspective.

• Lateral Offset: A 40 mm lateral offset from the bracket ensures full compatibility with most action cameras, including those in bulky waterproof housings (dive cases).

Universal Alignment

The kit includes both a flat shim and a wedge-shaped shim, allowing the mount to be perfectly leveled on helmets with flared or curved shells, such as the Gallet series.
